Katie G, 40′ composite boat designed by Rodger Martin, was Eric Goetz’s personal boat. Named after his daughter, Katie G was designed to be sailed short handed and went through several modifications over the 19 years that Goetz owned her. The plumb bow and tiller were elements that were reminiscent of Goetz days sailing thistles and dinghies.

Buckminster Fuller's Fly's Eye Dome

Unveiled during Art Basil in Miami, the replica of Buckminster Fuller’s Fly’s Eye Dome is now a permanent fixture in the Miami Design District. Additional engineering went into the replica to withstand the hurricane force winds and meet fire-retardant code compliance.

Land Buoy

The Land Buoy Pier 53 designed by Jody Pinto is located at the end of the Washington Avenue Pier on the Delaware River. The lighted blue beacon at the top of the 55′ structure was fabricated by CET dba Goetz Composites.

Unmanned Underwater Vehicle Work Begins

Spire

As part of the newly minted Bishop Ranch City Center designed by Renzo Piano, Goetz Composites engineered and fabricated a 16 meter tall spire. The Engineering services incorporated a CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) study to insure the structure will endure the ongoing fatigue from Mother Nature. The spire was built of aerospace grade prepreg carbon fiber, using a specially formulated (and tested) resin system to accomodate California Building Codes.

The installation of automated fiber placement (AFP) equipment at CET’s facility represents a major advancement in CET’s composite manufacturing capabilities. This cutting-edge technology allows us to precisely and efficiently lay down carbon fiber with unparalleled accuracy. With AFP in-house, CET gains greater control over the entire production process, enabling us to innovate more rapidly and offer our customers custom solutions that meet the most demanding engineering specifications.

Installation of Haas CNC Equipment at CET

The installation of new CNC equipment at CET marks a significant step forward in CET’s Pressure Vessel manufacturing capabilities. This state-of-the-art CNC lathe allows CET to produce precision metal components in-house, ensuring tighter quality control and faster turnaround times. By bringing the production of critical metal parts under our own roof, CET has reduced lead times, lowered costs, and ensured that every component meets our quality standards.
